W. Thomas Parker, Jr. | AIA | LEED AP | NCARB
Firm principal, W. Thomas Parker, graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Design and a Bachelor of Architecture in 1985. Since then he has had the opportunity to work with many of the Island’s original, visionary architects, gaining valuable experience in "Island Style Architecture." In 2016, with the retirement of a partner, his firm evolved into Parker Design Group | Architects.
Tom has earned numerous state and local awards for his commercial and residential designs from the AIA [American Institute of Architects]. Tom received his LEED [Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design] certification in 2004. And he designed the first LEED-certified building on Hilton Head Island for the interior design firm J. Banks Design Group.
Mr. Parker has served as President of the local AIA and served in various positions on both the state and local AIA. Over the years he has been a member of numerous community Architectural Review Boards and served on the Town of Hilton Head Island Design Review Board for six years, two of those years as Chairman of the Board. Tom lives in Sea Pines with his wife Lori and has two grown daughters Brittney and Halie.
Timothy C. Probst | AIA | NCARB
After graduating from The State University of New York Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture in 2001, Tim moved to the area for an internship with Tom Parker. He first received his certification to practice architecture in New York state and later was certified to practice in South Carolina.
Tim is involved with the AIA, serving in a multitude of board positions from President on down. He enjoys home renovations and furniture building in his spare time and participates in an adult soccer league. Tim lives in Bluffton with his wife Beth and two sons Jackson and Ben. The Probst family are active members of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
